Exchange

In the event you do not have time for a repair or overhaul, Sims Aviation has many instruments available for exchange including but not limited to gyros, flight directors, airspeeds, & altimeters. Although our average turn-around time for an overhaul is less than 7 days, we understand there are many AOG situations that require an instrument sometimes even same day. We will do what we can to meet your demands and help get your plane back in the air. All of our exchanges are in overhaul condition and come with a 1 year warranty. Exchange Policies:

A core fee will be collected up front to customers without terms unless good references can be provided.  A good core must be returned within 10 business days (15 for international customers).   If no core is returned, the customer will be billed for the difference in exchange and outright prices.  If the core is BER, the customer will be responsible for either providing a different core or paying the difference in exchange and outright prices.  Customer will be responsible for any over and above charges on the core return that is not calculated in an average overhaul cost.
